December 2 marks Matena's 3rd birthday! Over the past three years, Matena International School has embarked on a remarkable journey of transforming executive education in Armenia and beyond. To celebrate this milestone, we’ve prepared a report highlighting key achievements, milestones, and the incredible impact Matena has made. Here's a glimpse of what we've accomplished together:

1. World-Class Business Education in Armenia

Significant progress in reshaping the mindset toward executive education, with a considerable level of trust established around Matena.

2. Powerful Faculty

A distinguished team composed of world-leading experts, professors, and current and former top executives from powerhouse companies across 15 countries.

3. Executive Program Success

Over 40 executive programs successfully completed. Notably, 5 out of 18 commercial banks in Armenia have completed customized programs tailored by Matena for their top and middle management.

4. Global Partnerships

Partnerships with top universities and business schools worldwide, including ESMT Berlin, IE University, and Harvard University-Incubated NTF—making up 6 of the top 20 business schools globally in executive education, as ranked by the Financial Times.

5. Strong Graduate Network

Three years after launching its first programs, Matena International School boasts around 500 graduates from its open programs—executives and leaders from various sectors, including founders and CEOs of leading companies. Approximately 50 graduates have returned for additional programs, and over 40 international executives have joined its courses.

6. Alumni Club Established

The Matena Alumni Club has been officially established, complete with a Charter and governing bodies, including a President and Board, embodying and promoting the spirit and excellence of the Matena community.

7. Business Impact

Dozens of strategies crafted at Matena for different businesses, new companies established after the executive programs, and a number of joint projects born from alumni collaboration.

8. Scholarships Empowering Leaders in Key Sectors

Significant scholarships are available for leaders in education, science, culture, and healthcare, generously provided by companies led by Matena alumni. These scholarships demonstrate the strong commitment of the alumni network to fostering growth and leadership in vital sectors.

9. Geographic Expansion

Matena has expanded its footprint by offering regular courses in Cyprus, which has become the school’s second location.

10. Regional Impact

Matena regularly hosts joint modules in Yerevan for participants from leading business schools in the region.

11. Community Engagement

Over 3,000 leaders have attended Matena’s open events, further solidifying its position as a hub for leadership and professional development.

12. Corporate Partnerships

Collaborations with 300+ companies, along with partnerships in major international events in Armenia, including the Americas Competitiveness Exchange and WCIT2024.

13. Prestigious Memberships

Matena is the first school in Armenia and one of the few from the broader region to join the most prestigious European management development associations such as EFMD and CEEMAN, representing the region on a global platform.

14. Future Research Center

The groundwork for the Matena Research Center has been laid, with the launch planned for 2025.

15. Double-Degree Executive MBA

The Executive MBA (EMBA), developed in partnership with one of the top business schools in Europe, is poised to become the leading EMBA program in Armenia and the region. The program features modules in Germany, Armenia, Dubai, and Cyprus.
