Ian Robertson is Professor Emeritus in Psychology at Trinity College and was the founding director of Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience. He was Founding Director of the Global Brain Health Institute and is T Boone Pickens Distinguished Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas and co-leader of the BrainHealth Project.
His work has been published in over 600 papers in journals such as Nature, Psychological Bulletin, Journal of Neuroscience and Neuropsychologia, and in several multiply-translated books, most recently How Confidence Works, The Stress Test and The Winner Effect.
He is a Member of Academaea Europea, and a Member of the Royal Irish Academy, as well as a Fellow of the American Association for Psychological Science in recognition of his “sustained and outstanding distinguished contributions to psychological science”. He was recently awarded honorary degrees of DSc and MD by Trinity College Dublin.
He has presented to corporations including Microsoft, Accenture, Google and many others.
